I was going to call you to tell you how we felt about the video, but I just didn't think that I would be able to adequately explain the joy and amazement that we experienced while watching our film last night. I was also going to write a formal letter, but couldn't wait to thank you. First of all, I want you to know that our expectations were extremely high. Your previous work that we have been lucky enough to see set quite a high bar. Add to that the fact that when we met you, we could instantly sense that you were someone special that we, and especially I, shared a connection with, and you pretty much ensured that we expected A LOT. Well, you exceeded our expectations even more than we could have imagined... Also, the packaging was exquisite.
Not only was the film a beautiful, exquisite portrayal of the amazing day that we had, it actually made it even more special. It showed us moments we never got to see, highlighting moments that we probably forgot, and forever preserving and underlining moments that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
The editing, shooting, and soundtrack made things even more beautiful than I remembered them. Your film is not just a wedding video - it is a moment in time.
Years from now, we will be able to look back and see ourselves, our friends and our family as they were on that joyous occasion. I know for myself, seeing the moments I shared with my mother and my father touch me in ways I cannot express. Your attention to detail ensured that everything we could have hoped to have captured was indeed captured.
Your music selection could not have been more perfect. The music that you knew I loved was in there, and I was amazed at how you picked other music that we hadn't discussed that is also in my list of favorites. And most importantly, the inclusion of my father's music made everything that much more special.
I truly do not believe that we could have gotten a video that even came close to what you have given us from anyone else. ... I would just like to conclude by saying that other than marrying each other, working with you was definitely the best decision we made for our wedding.
